Lynda Fergen

November 27, 1940 - May 17, 2015

Lynda Frances Fergen was born November 27, 1940 at Sioux Falls, SD to Hal and Dorothy (Woods) McIntyre.  She grew up and attended schools graduating from high school in Sioux Falls, SD.  Lynda’s work was always helping people, disaster relief with the American Red Cross, NADRIC and the home healthcare field.  Lynda was a loving daughter that cared for her mother until Dorothy’s death.  Her heart was made of gold always helping those in need.  She loved shopping and finding treasures.  She had a gift for finding the unique and sharing them with friends and family.  Lynda was a very proud mother and grandmother cherishing time spent with family.  For 8 years Lynda received dialysis in Aberdeen and then in Mitchell.  The Avera teams were family to her and we appreciate the care she received.

She is survived by her sons, Brian (Erin) Fergen of St. Cloud, MN and Dan (Jenifer) Baker of Littleton, CO; daughters, Kathy (Bruce) Boschee of Aberdeen, SD and Teri (Marvin Wells) Davie of Marion, SD; daughter-in-law, Kacey McIntyre of Pahrump NV; a brother, Hal (Boni) McIntyre of Jacksonville, FL and a sister, Maureen Jund of Rapid City, SD; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steve McIntyre; brother, Kevin McIntyre and parents, Hal and Dorothy.

You have our sincere sympathy Kathy. Your Mom was a special lady and we have good memories of her. Hold on to all the special memories during the hard days. What a beautiful picture of her. She is free from all her health problems now and will be watching over you.
