Pearl Fauth

January 11, 1926 - May 24, 2015

Pearl J. Fauth was born on January 11, 1926 to Josh J and Mary E Hofer.  Pearl grew up on a farm in the Onida, South Dakota area.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptized in August of 1941.  She graduated from Onida High School in 1946 and on July 21st, 1946 she married Arnold Assmussen.  Two sons were born to this marriage.  Pearl and Arnold were married for five years when Arnold died in a plane crash near Mansfield, WA.  The Lord was very close to her during this time.

On June 20th, 1954 Pearl married Bennie Fauth.  Pearl and Bennie lived on a farm south of Emery with their five young children.  Together they had a daughter in 1968.  Pearl touched the lives of many children as she taught Sunday School for over 60 years.  She lived life by demonstrating her faith in Jesus Christ.  She was a good wife, a kind, patient and loving mother to all her children.  She took great delight in her children, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pearl was well known and loved in the community.  She touched many lives with her outgoing personality and her desire to work and help others.  She will be greatly missed.

Grateful for her life are her children: Wayne Fauth, Cheryl (Colin) Clem, Eldon Fauth, James (Diane) Fauth, Eileen (Les) Ellis, and Debbie (Rick) Labahn.  She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and two sisters, Lavon (Myron) Vetter and Carol (Lloyd) Dale.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie, an infant daughter, her parents, a daughter-in-law Bonnie, and two infant sisters.

What a beautiful epitaph for a beautiful lady. Jim and Diane my prayers are with you and the family. Mrs. Fauth doesn't need our prayers anymore because she has been healed. But the family she left behind will need to be lifted up. Isn't it glorious that you will be reunited with her one day! Love you guys.

Pearl was a wonderful person whom I had the privilege of knowing. She had such strong faith in the Lord. She also was kind to everyone she met. And she always treated me like family. Pearl will be missed greatly. My sincere sympathies to all her family. God Bless.

No one truly comprehends the loss that you feel
And yet thoughts of strength, comfort, and joyous peace
Are wished for you and your family. "In the hardest things we do...
Our Lord sees us through." With understanding accept our sincere sympathies,
Always, the Wards
