I worked with Vi for many years at Lutheran Hour Ministries in St. Louis, and am still there. She was a good friend and was missed when she moved back to South Dakota. We had a lot in common since I grew up on a farm near Twin Falls, Idaho. Greetings to the brother in Boise, Idaho, which we traveled through this summer.

Vi was a pleasure to work with. I truly enjoyed coming to her house and helping her out. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Vi was amazing woman, fierce and independent in a time when accomplishments such as hers, were virtually unknown. May she rest in peace, her work on earth is now done.
