This is a loss that has my jaw on the floor. I didn't know how ill you were But even in my darkest times you ALWAYS Lifted my spirits and Always told be things were gonna work out.. I have to believe God took you so soon for a reason, and in time all who came in contact with you in person and online will know why. To his family ,Dean was such and upbeat person and that will live on in all of you and I know when I look up to the stars I know the brightest will be Deans. Rest in peace and you will live in my heart each and everyday..My thoughts and prayers go to the family at this difficult time.

I've had a couple of days now to reflect on my friend Mr Been's passing. I'm so sorry I didn't log on a day earlier, a week earlier, a month earlier..... just to have another chat with my friend Mr Been. And now he's gone, and I can't. He was a better friend to me, then I was to him & I wish I could have had just one more chat with him to tell him how much I enjoyed him, his wit and banter. I am blessed in having known him, he was a friend to all. The lives he touched along his journey, were made better by his presence.

Tears have filled my eyes, as I remember my friend fondly. I take solace in knowing that he will be there to greet me when our paths cross once again.

To his family, I offer my sincere condolences for your loss.

RIP Mr Been, my compadre.

To Dean's family my condolences on your loss. Dean was a well known and well liked member of the Safe Harbor gaming community. HIs quirky sense of humour and his willingness to listen and try to help others when they were in a dark place was always appreciated by those who he reached out to. RIP Dean

I still scroll through my facebook page to read beenner's comments on my posts. I miss his daily posts. He always had a nice word for someone who needed it. But my best memory is playing in a crib team tournament on Sunday afternoon. One Last Big Knuffel

Such sorrow is felt in the Lagoon (backgammon room) & Muggins Cove (cribbage room) we all knew him as beenner and he was always interested in what other people had going on in their life. I just wish the OFJ DJ's would have played more of his requests ;) they know who they are. There will never be another like him made God Bless is Soul

Dean was one of the funniest guys I have known. He was so upbeat each and everyday even during the times when he didn’t feel good. He wanted us all to enjoy life to the fullest. R.I.P.

This is such a tremendous loss for so many people, family and friends. He couldn't have been any better a person than he was.We had so much fun together, so many laughs! He was such a good listener too! He had a heart of gold and surely didn't deserve the poor health he had to deal with for so long. He was and is loved by so many people. We spoke everyday on the phone for years and never missed a call at night to say "love you, have a good night". How I missed that call last night.....and will again every night from now on. I love you Dean, have a good night honey!

I am so sad and so shocked I can't even think what this is doing to his family. I have known Dean for over 16 yrs online and we met in Orlando Florida 12 years ago. He was such a good man and so polite and yes shy but he had this wit about him that was always happy and funny and even tho his health wasn't that great he was always upbeat. I will miss him dearly and I keep looking for him to come to the site all his friends are at and I just stare at lobbys and his nic and know its not going to happen. I will cherish the times we had and he will always be in my heart and I hope his family can find peace in knowing he isn't hurting anymore. Wherever he is he will be a bright star and watch over us all.. He will never be forgotten R.I.P. my good friend lufffffyyaaa forever it was our way to say love you every night when we signed offline. My prayers and thoughts for everyone
