I worked for Rick down at Geyerman back in the early 90’s...what I most remember is him flying through the back door at Geyermans and whisltling, singing and or laughing. Always had a smile on his face! He was such an interesting soul, loved how unique he was. My sincere condolances to his kids and family.

I will always fondly remember Rick from both watching and playing music with him for many years. He was always fun to watch play bass with his signature sway to the music. It always made me laugh, but it was also intriguing to see someone get that much into the music that they were playing.

The "MPA Jam Sessions" at the Moose Lodge was truly a group of musicians that loved music, each other's company, and the great times had by all! Rick will be sorely missed by all of us that he left behind, but he's joining the many great musicians that have gone before him...

Until we meet again, friend!

My apartment is next to Rick's. We lived in the same dorm at USD in 1966-1967. Always enjoyed the conversations I had with Rick.
