Karl Wade Lincoln Bleeker, 48, of Black Hawk, SD passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.

A memorial service will be7:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019, at Bitner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell with Rev. Keith Nash officiating. Burial will be at Emery Community Cemetery in Emery, SD.

Karl Bleeker was born February 24, 1971 in Greeley, CO to Linwood Bleeker and Merry Terveen Bleeker.  He grew up in Greeley, CO, Jefferson, SD, and Alexandria, SD.  He graduated from Hanson High School, and then attended the University of South Dakota, where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science.  He worked as an Information Technology professional, most recently for Rapid City Regional Health Systems.  He enjoyed shooting sports, spending time with friends and family, and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his mother, Merry Bleeker of Rapid City; uncles, Lyle (Paula) Terveen, Kent (Renée) Terveen, Loren (Julia) Terveen, Harry (Sue) Bleeker; aunts, Harriet (Randy) Berlin, Betty Spakes, Peggy Resz; several great uncles and aunts; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Linwood; brother, Matthew; and all his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.

To Karl's Family, we Greg Wagner's Family are so very saddened for Your loss. Karl was a Brother in every sense of the word to Our youngest Brother Greg. He was an immense source of strength to all of us (Greg's Family and especially Our Mom). He was a Special Guy to Greg's Family! Please know that We All Grieve with and for You!
