In 1960, Larry married the love of his life, Connie Cerney. He knew he was going to marry her before they even started dating.

Larry was a rancher/farmer for many years until he felt the Lord wanted him to move to Fulton, and put his kids in Bible School.

He was a Pastor at Shadley Valley and then Fulton, SD for a total of 25 years of preaching.

Larry called going to McDonalds with the guys his therapy. He loved visiting and telling jokes, and always looked forward to it.

In his later years his hobby was working on his acreage with his horses, driving his tractors, working with wood projects, etc.

He cherished his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed giving his grandchildren nicknames.

As I read this obituary and the comments at the end ... I knew I wanted to write something just to say “ Thank You Grandpa.“
Thank you seems like such an insufficient word for all the appreciation I have for you. Thanks for sharing your love of horses and always being there to debate me !!! We could talk for hours about politics, theology, and life !!! I will miss our talks together. But thank you most importantly for your life lived for Jesus you have inspired me. We will all miss you but we will see you again. Bye for now !!! Your granddaughter Katelynn ❤️
