Wilma Boddicker, 98, of Mitchell, SD, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Avera Brady Health and Rehab in Mitchell. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 12, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Dimock, SD. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Thursday at Bittner Funeral Chapel with a 6:30 PM prayer service. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Wilma Boddicker was born on March 17, 1922 in Dimock, SD to John and Mary (Roth) Koster. She attended school in Dimock. She married Wilfred Schoenfelder on January 28,1943 at Saint Joseph's Cathedral in San Antonio, TX. Together they farmed until his death. They were married for 31 years when Wilfred passed away on October 4, 1974. On May 26, 1978 Wilma married Wilford Boddicker. She worked at St. Benedict Hospital as a Dietary Aid from 1975 to 1987. Wilma was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society, the VFW Auxiliary, Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Roses Because.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Gary) Butterfield, Mitchell; stepson, Vince (Brenda) Boddicker, Mitchell; stepdaughter, Lynn (Dave) Beswick, Littleton, CO; grandson, Brian (Alisha) Butterfield, Rapid City; step grandchildren: Billie, Jason, Chelsea, Brooke, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Michael and Alec Butterfield; eight step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both of her husbands, Wilfred Schoenfelder and Wilford Boddicker; grandson, Chad Butterfield; step great-granddaughter, Arianna Boddicker; step great-grandson, Teddy Boddicker; four brothers and eight sisters.
