Jeanette Ann Wethor was born August 4, 1931 at the farm home of her parents, Norbert and Ann (Krier) Haiar. She attended and graduated from Farmer High School. On June 1, 1953 she married James Wethor at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Farmer. Together they farmed until retiring in 1985. She also worked at Hanlon Hardware for several years in Emery and was a cook at the Emery High School. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and gardening. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart League.
She is survived by two daughters: Barb (Steve) Lienemann, Morris, MN, Jane (Duane) Simons, Sioux Falls; one son, Mike (Tami) Wethor, Alexandria; one brother, Wilbur (Julie) Haiar, Alexandria; three sisters: Margie (Amos) Reisch, Howard, Germaine (Norman) Endres, Ethan, Doris (Melvin) Schlimgen, Dimock; two sisters:-in-law: Lenora Krier, Emery, Mary Ann Wethor, Mitchell; brother-in-law, Jerry (Jeannie) Wethor, Luverne, MN; eleven grandchildren: Chris (Stacy) Lienemann, Philip (Stacie) Lienemann, Beth Lienemann, Patrick Lienemann, Stephanie Lienemann, Brian Simons, Scott Simons, Sara (Chris) Rokeh, Jodi Wethor and fiancé, Zac Dubbledee, Seth Wethor, Jada Wethor, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James and sister, Marlene Wethor.
Memorials are preferred to be made to the Sacred Heart League at St. Martin Catholic Church.
