Darwin Delmer Nuss was born to Arthur and Adeline (Fuerst) Nuss on June 24, 1935 in Tripp SD. He attended school in Tripp and graduated from Tripp High School in 1953. He joined the Air Force right out of high school. He was a photographer in The Air Force.
