Obituary

Leon Goetsch, 86, of Vermillion, SD, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Sanford Vermillion Hospital. A private burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell at a later date.

Leon “Tommy” Vincent Goetsch was born March 20, 1937, to William and Grace (Kettlehut) Goetsch in Mitchell, SD as the second youngest of eight children.

Leon attended two years at Mitchell Public Schools. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Leon is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: William, Marion, Lillian Hildebrandt, Gene, Dean, Darrell, and Dennis.
