Grateful for having shared his life is his significant other, Teresa Councillor, Mitchell SD; his children, Brenna (Jerold) Andersen, Mitchell SD, Ailene (Lane) Henrichsen, Mitchell SD, and Lacee Kleinschmidt, Yankton SD; 2 grandchildren, Chelsea Larson and Eric Andersen; close family friend, Shelly (Derek) Tierney and their children Lyrik Strand and Lilith Tierney; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Christina Amussen; an infant daughter, Ariel; and sisters, Grace and Ailene Amussen.
