Catherine Larson, 88, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Aurora-Brule Nursing Center in White Lake. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.
Catherine Ann Larson was born on January 8, 1937, to Roosevelt and Leona (Wiltse) Larson in Fairmont, MN. She was born and raised in Minnesota, where she worked various jobs and raised three children.
Catherine always had time to help others. She loved to sew, cook, garden, and spend time with her family. After retiring, she moved to Sioux Falls to live with her daughter and grandson. She then moved to Mitchell.
Catherine is survived by her three children, Mary Becker of Jackson, MN, John Becker of Sherburn, MN, and Kris (Steve) Gross of Mitchell; grandson, Trevor Frye of Yankton, SD; great-grandson, Tegan Frye of Yankton, SD; along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her siblings and parents, Roosevelt and Leona Larson.
