I am so fortunate to have many cousins who are special. I feel Darlene even stands out among all of them. Just always so kind and nice. She organized a card shower for my Mom on her 90th birthday. She enjoyed it so much.
Rest in Peace sweet Darlene....

Sending deepest sympathies to the Lauer family. Darlene was one of those Mom's we all learned from growing up in Mitchell. She was always involved in her community, working and raising 6 kids. WOW ! that was such a lesson of strength, dedication, and love. Did I mention with a perpetual smile and twinkle in her eye. One of my first memories of Darlene, was as a kid eating lunch at Barb's house. Darlene was making us sandwiches. I loved her fish tank and she was excited to show me the baby guppies hiding in the floating plants. :)
Thank you for Live Streaming the funeral Mass. It was a beautiful celebration for Darlene.
