Donald "Jim" Alexander, 71, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026, at his home in Mitchell. Arrangements are pending under the direction of Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Jim was a kind, yet quiet man. Jim loved to woodwork and stayed busy doing this, specializing in letter boxes. Each and every one was different, made from scraped wood. Friends and neighbors will have a pleasant memory of Jim's kind heart, passing in the halls and remembering our friend and neighbor.
