Obituary

Kathy Q. Lee, 52, of Mitchell, SD, passed peacefully and returned to God on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Hennepin Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Kathy Q. Lee was born June 28, 1973, to John and Annie (Bui) Lee in Doc Mo, Long Khanh Province, Vietnam.

With deep faith and trust in God’s divine will, our family respectfully announces to all relatives, friends, and loved ones near and far the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. May the soul of our beloved Kathy Q Lee rest in eternal peace in God’s loving embrace.

We sincerely thank all who have offered prayers, condolences, and support during this difficult time.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kevin Nguyen; daughter, Jenny Nguyen; and son, James Nguyen.

My sincere condolences to Kevin and family. Kathy was such a bright light and beautiful soul! I pray that God wraps his arms around Kevin and his children during this difficult time. She was such a great friend and loved how she did my nails! She was always so kind. I am going to miss her deeply and miss her sassy self! All my love. God bless my friend. Rest in peace.
