Obituary

Rose Loudner, 67, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Sunday, May 22, at the Moose Lodge in Mitchell. A private burial will be at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Ft. Morgan, CO. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Rose Marie Loudner was born August 24, 1954, to Donald Sr. and Joyce (Fallis) Loudner in Mitchell, SD.

Rose is survived by her children, Tory Loudner of Benson, NE and Mortisha Lopez of Flandreau, SD; father, Don Loudner Sr.; grandchildren, Adante Wright of California, Ynosencia Furgeson of Mitchell, JJ Jarod of Mitchell, Lily Lopez of Wisconsin, Jodeci Lopez of Wisconsin, and Mateo Lopez Jr. of Mitchell; and siblings, Donita F Loudner of Ft. Thompson and Donald E Loudner II of Blair, NE.

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Lopez Sr., her mother, and brother, Michael A Loudner.

I remember Rose well from high school. She always had a smile on her face and was always the one to put a smile on your face if you were having a bad day. We are certainly going to miss you. My heart and prayers to your family. Rest I Peace Rose.

Rose was my best friend in grade school at Litchfield Elementary. I have such fond memories of her whole family and her mom, Joyce, and her dad, Don. I spent many days there after school. She will be missed. I was looking forward to seeing her at our upcoming 50th high school reunion.
