Obituary

Sharon Larson, 80, of Mitchell, SD, died Friday, November 4, 2022, at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 8 at Graceland Cemetery in Howard. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Sharon Lee Larson was born July 29, 1942, in Yankton, SD to Martin and Susan (Slagle) Willman. Sharon was raised in Howard, SD and graduated from Canova High School in 1962. On March 6, 1964, she married Eugene Larson in Mount Vernon and resided in Mitchell, SD for many years. Sharon enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the Salvation Army along with Faith Temple Church. Sharon loved working in food service, especially her time at Dakota Wesleyan University.

Sharon is survived by her four children, Brian Larson of Rapid City, Kevin (Tamera) Larson of Florida, Travis Larson of Sioux Falls, and Stacy Larson of Sioux Falls; six grandchildren: Sonny Larson, Kayla Hatting, Katie and Samantha Larson, Tyler (April) Larson, and Tara Larson; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alice (Mike) Litterick of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Wilma Jones and Melva Jeralds, and brothers Larry and Darel Willman.
