I was a friend and coworker of Sheila's. She was a kind, loving, gentle spirit. We connected on several levels and also had much in common. We had long visits after working at Camelot and could laugh about our students as well. I miss her. The students miss her. But I know she is resting and dancing with her Lord Jesus! I love this picture of Sheila and that beautiful smile! Prayers for her all her family.

Sheila and I worked at Lowe's together. At first we weren't the greatest of friends. We worked the Customer Service desk together and soon started to discover we had so much in common. Not only did we have many interests that were similar, but also simlary struggles with out mental health. With those similarties it gave us a strong bond and a great friendship. She was such an amazing and caring person. She always came to work will a smile, even if something was bothering her. We spent hours talking about Books and Harry Potter! The world will be a different place without her, but I hope she knows how much she is loved!

I knew Sheila while she lived and worked in Brookings. She
looked sad and seemed puzzled about what was happening to her. She is a beautiful girl, and we loved her new hair style. Had I only known her struggle. I had been there myself after behavioral Health. If it not for the grace of God, there go I. I'm broken hearted to hear of the loss of this pretty young lady. She had so much to offer. Let me know if I can help in any way. God bless her with his gift of heaven. Rita

I was a coworker of Shelia’s and all I can say is how thoughtful and caring of a person she was. She was also so kind to everyone and willing to help. Whenever I would walk into work and saw her name on the schedule, I would smile. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I went to grad school with Sheila at USD. She was an amazingly kind and caring soul. She always talked about her mom and her sisters, plus the foster babies as they made their way in and out of the family home. Family and feeling connected was always so important to her. It is just unbelievable that she is gone. I am so sorry for your loss. Love and hugs to Sheila's family. Fly high, Sheila, fly high. Your legacy will be the impact you made on the many lives that have been changed just by having known you.

I worked with Sheila at Barnes and Noble. I remember when she dressed up in scrubs for a Halloween event at B&N and I called her "Doctor" and she just laughed. I started calling Sheila that as my name for her.

Sheila had so much compassion for people and love for her family. Sheila loved talking about the foster children your family were raising. I am heartbroken for Sheila's family. May Jesus Christ care for you during this difficult days ahead.
