I was a coworker of Shelia’s and all I can say is how thoughtful and caring of a person she was. She was also so kind to everyone and willing to help. Whenever I would walk into work and saw her name on the schedule, I would smile. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Sheila was my Friend and next door neighbor. I miss her deeply! She always had a smile, a kind word and a SPARK. Sheila cared deeply for others, especially children. She touched so many lives, including mine!
My sympathy and comfort for her Mom, Sisters and The Babies.

Not only was Sheila my daughter's school counselor but she was my son's first foster sister. She was so kind and will be greatly missed.

I went to grad school with Sheila at USD. She was an amazingly kind and caring soul. She always talked about her mom and her sisters, plus the foster babies as they made their way in and out of the family home. Family and feeling connected was always so important to her. It is just unbelievable that she is gone. I am so sorry for your loss. Love and hugs to Sheila's family. Fly high, Sheila, fly high. Your legacy will be the impact you made on the many lives that have been changed just by having known you.

I worked with Sheila at Barnes and Noble. I remember when she dressed up in scrubs for a Halloween event at B&N and I called her "Doctor" and she just laughed. I started calling Sheila that as my name for her.

Sheila had so much compassion for people and love for her family. Sheila loved talking about the foster children your family were raising. I am heartbroken for Sheila's family. May Jesus Christ care for you during this difficult days ahead.
