Obituary

William “Bill” Bennett, 78, of Mitchell, SD, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Monday, March 9, at St. Mary of Mercy Catholic Church in Alexandria, SD, with Father Bob Krantz officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Alexandria. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7:00 PM at the church with a 6:30 PM prayer service.
