William “Bill” Cronk, 95, of Mt. Vernon, SD, died Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, October 10, at Grace Baptist Church in Mitchell. Burial will be at a later date in Trinity Cemetery in rural Letcher, SD. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Thanks for always being such a great friend for my Dad! I remember when you two were roomies back when I was a little girl ! Then I was lucky enough to work with you at JCPenney’s. You always had a fun sense of humor and I’ll always remember your sheepish smile when you found something funny. You were always kind and funny and happy. Rest in peace Bill. Xoxo

Bill was a blessing to me over the years. I learned some things from his knowledge and wisdom. He was a Godly man. He was trusting Jesus and now is with The Lord.

So sorry to hear of Bill’s death…but I know he’s not sad. He’s rejoicing with his Savior! I met Bill and Jan when they were homeschooling their granddaughter. It was a big task, but Bill was a very positive and joy-filled believer. His hope was evident in the way he lived. I’ll be praying for his family. 🙏🏻
